Purpose

Summary

An overview of user traffic on your web site, including the average number of page hits per month over the last year, the average hits by day of week, and the average hits by time of day. These statistics are further subdivided into total hits, hits by site members, and hits by the general public – as indicated using the color-coded bar charts.

Browsers & OS

A measure of the types of browsers and operating systems being used to access your website. This includes both the number of hits in each browser/OS category, and a percentage. The bar charts provide a visual gauge of the relative volume.

Page Popularity

A ranking of the most popular pages on the site, showing the hits by site members, hits by the general public, and total page hits. This list includes the home page, unless you turn on the Exclude Home Page checkbox.

Viewers by Month

A listing by month, showing the total site visitors in the following categories: site members, general public, all visitors.

Hits by Month

A listing showing the number of page hits each month during the specified time period, including hits by site members, hits by the general public, and all hits.

Hits by Day

A listing showing the number of pages hit each day during the specified time period, including hits by site members, hits by the general public, and all hits. Because of the large number of days that may be included, this display may take up several pages. The controls at the upper right on this page allow you to specify how many days will be displayed per page in this window. Use the pull-down list to select the page to be displayed, or use the arrows to page back and forth.
